It was noted that the Tashkent Declaration, expected to be adopted following the event, will serve as a foundation for implementing essential initiatives aimed at promoting social development.

At the meeting with the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, discussions were held on further strengthening ties between the Parliament of Uzbekistan and the parliaments of Arab countries, as well as expanding broad-based cooperation.

Particular attention was given to collaboration in the areas of legislative activity, parliamentary oversight, enhancing regular dialogue between parliamentary committees, and facilitating mutual visits.

Inter-parliamentary cooperation and legislative relations between Uzbekistan and Thailand were discussed during a meeting with the Wanmuhamadnoor Matha, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand.

The meeting also addressed proposals for further developing the partnership. Key areas highlighted included the establishment of permanent contacts between the parliaments of both countries, the creation of friendship groups, and the exchange of experience and legislative practices in agriculture and tourism.

An agreement was reached to develop joint initiatives aimed at further strengthening and enhancing inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
