A bilateral meeting between the leadership of the Border Troops of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan took place in Tashkent.

Held in a spirit of friendship, the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the current situation along state borders and to discuss the status, directions, and prospects of interagency cooperation, grounded in mutual trust, respect, and constructive dialogue.

Following the discussions, the parties agreed to exchange experience in border protection, border control, information technology, and logistical support.

The sides reaffirmed their commitment to the course set by the heads of state to preserve and strengthen the historically close ties of friendship between the two brotherly nations.
