An international media forum on “The Power of the Press: Dialogue of Civilizations and the Influence of Journalists on Global Modernization” is taking place in Jiangxi province of the People’s Republic of China.
Representatives from the world’s leading media and responsible organizations in the field are participating in the event.

Current issues of modern journalism, the introduction of advanced technologies in the media industry, the use of artificial intelligence, as well as challenges and prospects of professional activity, were discussed at the event, which attracted more than 100 participants from almost 60 countries, including the USA, China, Germany, France, Russia, Bulgaria and Belarus.

The speakers at the international forum, discussing the achievements of journalism, also focused on the existing problems in this area. In particular, the trends towards an increase in the volume of misinformation were noted. In this regard, the need to develop and implement practical solutions to overcome these challenges in the context of modern journalism was emphasized.
Acting Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan Kholmurod Salimov addressed the workshop “Artificial Intelligence in Journalism”. He noted that representatives of Uzbekistan media are actively integrating artificial intelligence into their professional activities.
During the conference, participants also visited the cities of Nanchang, Lushan, Jiujiang, and Hangzhou in Jiangxi province, allowing them to become acquainted with the latest achievements in ecology and environmental protection.
