The Uzbekistan men’s national team played against Egypt in the second round of the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad, held in Budapest on September 12.

In the second round, Uzbekistan’s players defeated Egypt with a score of 1:0. Nodirbek Abdusattarov, Nodirbek Yoqubboyev, and Javokhir Sindorov played a draw with their opponents, while Shamsiddin Vohidov brought a victory to the national team.

Uzbekistan’s female chess players defeated Angola 2:0. Afruza Hamdamova and Nilufar Yoqubova lost to their rivals, and Umida Omonova and Marjona Malikova won.
