The People’s Republic of China is one of the most powerful countries in the world and has a highly developed economy.

Journalists from Central Asian countries visited Khorgos in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Every facility they visited – museums, manufacturing plants, border checkpoints – has modern technology and uses the most advanced experience. From the manager to the worker, everyone approaches their work with great responsibility, strictly observes all rules and discipline, and completes the assigned task efficiently and promptly.

Xinjiang Natural Fragrance Agricultural Science and Technology company was founded in 2021 and is engaged in the cultivation, planting, primary, and deep processing of stevia seeds. The enterprise is not only high-tech, but also export-oriented. Of the ten types of products, 40 percent are sold on the domestic market, and the rest are exported. The company ranks third in the world in terms of insulin production capacity from stevia. Every year, the plant, which covers an area of 7,000 hectares, manufactures 18,000 tons of products. The sugar obtained from stevia is entirely natural, and unlike regular sugar, it contains no additional calories. Stevia sugar is said to be harmless and even beneficial for people with diabetes.

Company director Zhou Meng spoke warmly about Uzbekistan, noting that he had visited the country many times.

“I liked the fertile land, moderate climate, large markets, and especially favorable conditions created for investors”, says Zhou Meng. “The people of Uzbekistan are hardworking and honest. We plan to open a company branch and start growing stevia in Uzbekistan. As a result of cooperation, producing high-quality products for the domestic market and exporting them to neighboring countries is possible. I communicate and exchange ideas with many of my Uzbek businessman friends. I often visit Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. I respect the history and culture of the country. I get a lot of spiritual nourishment from traveling. In addition, Uzbekistan is beautiful for cooperation and investment”.

This is not the first opinion about Uzbekistan. In China, numerous business community representatives have expressed their admiration for the country and their intentions to collaborate with Uzbekistan’s entrepreneurs and invest in its potential.
