Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia are strengthening healthcare cooperation

The Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with a delegation from Saudi Arabia led by the Minister of Health Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel.

The parties discussed enhancing medicine through digital technologies, broadening the adoption of innovative solutions in practice, and effectively utilizing public-private partnership mechanisms. They also considered proposals to improve the quality of medical services in line with international standards, develop a comprehensive system for training doctors and specialists, implement professional development programs, and facilitate the exchange of best practices.

The Ministry reports that an agreement has been reached to carry out promising collaborative projects.
