The President of Uzbekistan to pay a working visit to Kazakhstan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on May 15.

The Head of State will attend the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, to be held in Turkestan under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development”.

At the summit, the participants will discuss further expansion of multilateral cooperation, particularly in the trade and economic, investment, transport, communications, and environmental spheres, as well as the development of digital infrastructure, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the practical application of artificial intelligence.

The heads of delegations will also discuss current issues on the regional and international agendas.

Following the summit, the Turkestan Declaration is expected to be adopted.
