Tashkent Grand Prix

The International Tashkent Grand Prix Cycling Tournament has concluded at the Olympic Village.

It is included in the International Cycling Union (UCI) calendar of competitions.

Professional athletes from various countries took part in the event.

In the men’s “Madison” race, the Uzbekistan national team, consisting of Sergey Rostovtsev and Dmitry Bocharov, scored 67 points and won first place.

The Indian national team members Vishavjeet Singh and Harshveer Sekhon (45 points) finished second, while the duo of Alimardon Jamoldinov and Mukhriddin Saparov (31 points) finished third.

Gulnaz Khatuntseva and Nafosat Qoziyeva won the women’s championships with 85 points. The Uzbekistan national team members Samira Ismoilova and Asal Rizayeva (25 points) became silver medalists, and the Indian athletes Swasti Singh and Pooja Danole (19 points) earned bronze.
