Preparations for the 2029 Asian Youth Games in Tashkent discussed
A meeting was held at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan with members of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) delegation to discuss preparations for the 4th Asian Youth Games, scheduled for 2029 in Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov briefed members of the OCA delegation on the draft plans under development to ensure the high-level organization of the Tashkent 2029 Asian Youth Games.
The discussions covered organizing the competitions, preparing sports facilities, creating the necessary conditions for participants, and staging the Games in line with modern requirements.
As part of the visit program, the Olympic Council of Asia delegation is also scheduled to tour Olympic City and its surrounding areas in Tashkent, inspect the complex’s sports facilities, and visit other sports venues across the capital.
