Which sectors in Uzbekistan attract the most investment?

According to the National Statistics Committee, 338.9 trillion UZS in fixed capital investment was utilized from all sources of financing for the development of the economy and the social sphere in January-June 2026.

This figure increased by 17.5% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.

Investments utilized by type of economic activity:

manufacturing – 100.5 trillion UZS;

agriculture, forestry and fishing – 32.9 trillion UZS;

construction – 32.5 trillion UZS;

electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – 29.9 trillion UZS;

residential construction – 27.3 trillion UZS;

mining and quarrying – 21.8 trillion UZS;

transportation and storage – 16.3 trillion UZS;

wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 13.7 trillion UZS;

water supply, sewerage, waste collection and recycling – 7.4 trillion UZS;

education – 7.2 trillion UZS;

information and communication – 5.8 trillion UZS;

accommodation and food service activities – 5.6 trillion UZS;

professional, scientific and technical activities – 4.6 trillion UZS;

human health and social work activities – 4.6 trillion UZS;

financial and insurance activities – 2.4 trillion UZS;

arts, entertainment and recreation – 2.0 trillion UZS;
