Uzbekistan’s wrestlers win six medals at the Asian Championship
The U17 Asian Wrestling Championship has been completed in Da Nang, Vietnam.
On the final day of the tournament, the Uzbekistan national team members won two gold, two silver, and two bronze medals each.
Farrukh Mahmudov (48 kg) and Bekzodbek Ibrokhimov (60 kg) reached the top step of the podium. Muhammad Rahimjonov (45 kg) and Amirbek Fazliddinov (92 kg) crossed the final finish and became silver medalists, while Shokhiddin Aliyev (65 kg) and Behruz Ashirov (110 kg) won bronze medals.
Earlier, the Uzbekistan national team won a gold, three silver, and four bronze medals at the Greco-Roman wrestling championships. In addition, female athletes earned silver and three bronze medals.
