Uzbekistan’s representative joins the Impact Team for the first time
At the Fourth Obninsk NEW International Youth Nuclear Forum in Russia, a new composition of Impact Team 2050, the youth advisory council under the Director General of Rosatom State Corporation, was elected.
For the first time in the council’s history, a representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mukhiddin Umidov, a fourth-year student at the Tashkent branch of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, has joined the council.
Mukhiddin Umidov, as part of Impact Team 2050, will advocate for young people in Uzbekistan’s nuclear sector, contribute to initiatives that enhance human capital, promote peaceful nuclear energy among youth, and connect young specialists in the region with the leadership of Rosatom State Corporation.
He remarked that the growth of the nuclear industry is not just a major technological undertaking but also marks the start of a new era, offering young people significant opportunities to realize their professional potential, adopt advanced technologies, and contribute to a safe, sustainable energy future.
