The event became one of the largest international platforms for discussing current issues in the development of the international human rights protection system.
The forum brought together more than 400 representatives of government bodies, international organizations, the scientific and expert community, national human rights institutions, and the UN.

Special attention in the speech was paid to the reforms underway in Uzbekistan. It was noted that, in accordance with the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy, investment in people, education, and knowledge is regarded as the most important condition for sustainable development and improving citizens’ quality of life.

During the speech, Uzbekistan’s experience in implementing the principles of a social state, developing human capital, promoting human rights education, and strengthening opportunities for sustainable development was also presented. Ms. Muratova invited forum participants to take part in the 5th Samarkand Forum on Human Rights, which will be held in September of this year.
