Uzbekistan’s artist participates in an international symposium
The 6th International Painting Symposium took place in Armenia’s Syunik region and featured artists from the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Montenegro, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Muhammadjon Sattorov, a trainee researcher at the Painting Skills Workshop under the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, represented Uzbekistan. He is also a member of the Union of Artists and serves as a lecturer at the Department of Easel Painting of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod.

Over a week, the artists created artworks inspired by the natural and cultural features of Syunik, highlighting the region’s landscapes and distinctive traits.
Traditionally, the symposium concluded with an exhibition at the Kapan Museum of Modern Art, featuring works created during the event.
