Uzbekistan secures the 9th position in the Asian Games medal standings

Uzbekistan’s delegation has won six medals so far at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

The national team has 1 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal. With this result, Uzbekistan currently ranks ninth in the overall medal standings.

Uzbekistan won its only gold medal in karate, with Abdulvahob Rashidov.

Following the initial two days of competition, the delegation secured one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.

In the subsequent events, Firdavs Atamuradov, Darya Latysheva, and Hilola Sobirova won silver medals, bringing Uzbekistan’s total to four.

China leads the medal standings, followed by Japan and the Republic of Korea. Uzbekistan is currently ninth, behind India.
