Uzbekistan – Korea Inter-MFA Political Consultations in Seoul
The 17th round of inter-MFA political consultations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea took place in Seoul. The delegations were led by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olimjon Abdullayev, and the Republic of Korea’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chung Eui-hae, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
During the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of issues in bilateral cooperation, focusing on the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea. Priority areas for cooperation in the near future were identified.
The participants focused on coordinating the schedules of upcoming events at various levels and in different formats. The deepening cooperation in labor migration was also discussed.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain an active interagency dialogue to strengthen practical cooperation in key areas of the bilateral agenda.
