Uzbekistan is becoming a center for major international competitions
Tashkent hosted the WTT Youth Contender Tashkent 2026.
The President of the International Table Tennis Federation, Petra Sörling, who attended the competition, noted the high level of organization of major international tournaments in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting with the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Table Tennis Federation, Sherzod Kudbiev, she expressed strong appreciation for the development of sports infrastructure, the construction of modern sports facilities, and the creation of broad opportunities for young people.
The parties discussed the organization of major international competitions in Uzbekistan, the advanced training of coaches and judges, and the training of young athletes.
