Uzbekistan – Egypt: Dialogue of civilizations and heritage
This was the title of an event held at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, participated in the event.

A presentation of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan took place. It was highlighted that the center is emerging as a key international platform for fostering intercultural and intercivilizational dialogue and promoting the scientific and spiritual heritage of the Islamic world.
The event focused on topics such as preserving cultural heritage, supporting scientific research, studying and digitizing manuscripts, and promoting enlightenment, interfaith dialogue, and tolerance. The importance of enhancing humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt to strengthen mutual understanding and foster cultural connections between people was also emphasized.

The participants highlighted that Uzbekistan and Egypt share a long history of scientific and educational traditions, a rich spiritual legacy, and similar civilizational values. They especially noted the significant contributions of leading scholars from both nations to the progress of Islamic science, culture, and education.
