Uzbekistan and Spain strengthen cooperation in the porcelain sector

The Embassy of Uzbekistan organized a meeting with representatives of Angren City Hokimiyat and Spanish companies Gedepsa, Enhol Group, and Systemfoc, which specialize in porcelain production.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for localizing porcelain production in Uzbekistan, with the involvement of leading Spanish brands, modern production lines, and technological solutions. The Spanish side expressed interest in organizing production directly in Uzbekistan, using the local industrial base, raw materials, and production capacities.

Representatives of the Spanish companies were presented with the industrial and investment potential of the city of Angren, as well as with existing production sites and enterprises where modern Spanish technologies, equipment, and investment could be attracted. Particular attention was paid to opportunities to modernize existing production facilities, expand the range of manufactured products, and increase their export potential.

Special attention was also given to the supply of modern equipment, the introduction of energy-efficient, innovative technologies, and the creation of joint production facilities serving both the domestic market and regional exports.

The sides recognized Angren’s high potential as one of the country’s industrial centers for developing the porcelain industry and emphasized the importance of expanding industrial cooperation between Uzbek enterprises and Spanish manufacturers. Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue substantive negotiations and work on joint investment projects.
