Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan strengthen allied cooperation
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev in Cholpon-Ata, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
During the negotiations, the parties noted with satisfaction that friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are reaching a qualitatively new level.
The Ministers focused on ensuring the effective implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level. They also reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation within the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Central Asia – China format, and other multilateral platforms.
In addition, the foreign ministers reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral visits and joint events at multiple levels, emphasizing their interest in expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan across all key areas.
