Uzbekistan and Austria: Cooperation grounded in the principles of mutual respect and trust

An online meeting of the Interparliamentary Cooperation Groups “Uzbekistan-Austria” and “Austria-Uzbekistan” was held in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The consistent development of friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the strengthening of bilateral cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and trust, was noted.

The parties exchanged views on strengthening interparliamentary cooperation and stressed the importance of improving the effectiveness of interparliamentary groups, enhancing parliamentary control mechanisms, and expanding the exchange of experience and cooperation in trade, economics, agriculture, ecology, and green energy, as well as in the development of energy efficiency and environmental standards, and in the educational and humanitarian fields.
