The senator participated in the International Tourism Forum

Minsk hosted the International Tourism Forum “Travel Hub “Sodrujestvo”.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Economic Reforms of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Qobiljon Tursunov participated in the plenary and sectoral discussions.

Issues related to the development of global economic growth of tourism as a driver, the formation of a single tourist space in the CIS, and the expansion of cooperation were comprehensively discussed at the forum.

The senator met with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus and discussed issues related to tourism development and the expansion of economic cooperation.

At a meeting with the Chairman of the Permanent Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, the Uzbekistan delegation discussed promising areas of cooperation, strengthening interparliamentary ties, and promoting joint initiatives. Special attention was paid to youth issues, noting that the Memory Train and Children of the Commonwealth Projects play a key role in educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, historical memory, and mutual respect. It was also stressed that support for inter-parliamentary initiatives is necessary.

Such meetings contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the continuation of a constructive dialogue.
