The rector met with first-year students

Madaminjon Madazimov, the Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, met with first-year students who were admitted to the institute and had settled into the student dormitories.

During the meeting, the rector congratulated the young people who are embarking on a new stage of life for becoming students of the institute and spoke about the important tasks ahead of them.

"It is not difficult to imagine the feelings surging in your hearts at the beginning of the new academic year, on your very first day as a student," said the rector of the institute, Professor Madamindon Madazimov. "You have long awaited this day, worked hard, gained knowledge, and successfully passed your exams to achieve the joy of being a student. Now, an even greater and more responsible path lies before you: to acquire thorough knowledge and become a competent specialist. We, your instructors, will always support you on this journey."

The rector also stressed the need for students to study diligently, conduct research, acquire modern knowledge and skills, follow the guidance of their instructors, and strive tirelessly to become accomplished specialists in the field of medicine.

During the meeting, students received answers to their questions. They were also given suggestions and recommendations regarding the educational process at the institute, the conditions in the student dormitories, and how to spend their leisure time meaningfully.

Currently, nearly 12,000 students are studying in more than 30 specialty areas at Andijan State Medical Institute. Over 1,500 of them are international students. This year, 1,448 students were admitted to the first year of the institute. Approximately 350 of the newly admitted students have been placed in student dormitories.
