The new academic year has begun at the university.
A solemn ceremony dedicated to the start of the 2026/2027 academic year was held at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh under the slogan, "As one nation and one people, we will build a new life and a new future!"
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, university professors and faculty, parents, and students.
The event began with the playing of the national anthems of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Following this, the university rector, Berdiyar Jollibekov, delivered a speech, congratulating the attendees on the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the start of the new 2026/2027 academic year. He also extended his sincere congratulations to the young people and their parents who had the good fortune to be admitted as students to Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, wishing them success in the new academic year.
During the ceremony, speakers emphasized that extensive opportunities are being created in our country for young people to receive a thorough education and master modern professions and specialties. They called upon the students to make effective use of these opportunities, to work on themselves continuously, and to acquire deep knowledge and skills, wishing them great success in their future selfless service for the development of our Motherland and the well-being of our people.
