The future of artificial intelligence to be discussed at a summit in Tashkent
An international summit, KEY TECH: AI Summit 2026, will be held in Tashkent on April 30 and will focus on the development and practical application of artificial intelligence technologies across the banking sector, fintech, payment infrastructure, public administration, and digital services.
The event will bring together executives from banks, fintech companies, payment systems, and technology organizations, as well as representatives of government bodies, regulators, and international experts. Participants will discuss key areas of artificial intelligence development and its role in transforming the economy and digital services.
The summit will serve as a platform for strategic dialogue and the exchange of practical experience in implementing AI solutions across the financial sector and public administration. Particular attention will be paid to the challenges of scaling technologies and their impact on the development of the region’s digital economy.
The central event of the program will be a discussion titled “Strategic Dialogue: Government, Regulators, and Industry”, during which aspects of interaction between the state and the market, as well as prospects for the introduction of artificial intelligence in key sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy, will be considered.
The summit will also feature thematic sessions on the application of artificial intelligence in banking and fintech, credit scoring and risk management, the development of AI platforms and data infrastructure, speech technologies, cybersecurity, and practical case studies on implementing digital solutions.
A separate session, “Women in AI”, will focus on the role of women in the development of technologies and the region’s digital transformation.
The organizers note that the summit will be one of the key platforms in Central Asia for discussing the future of artificial intelligence and the digital economy.
