Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Uzbekistan celebrates its 25th anniversary
In 2026, the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Russian House in Tashkent) will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its activities. The anniversary program began on March 26 with the launch of a new student theater project aimed at supporting youth creative groups.
The first event of the program was a performance based on the novella “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” by Boris Vasilyev. The play was performed by students from the Jizzakh branch of Kazan Federal University on the stage of the State Youth Theater of Uzbekistan.

The project included 28 students from different fields, ranging from IT to medicine.
More than 200 spectators attended the performance. The immersive format allowed the audience to become more deeply engaged in what was happening on stage. The audience’s live reaction, especially in the final scenes, confirmed the high level of engagement and the quality of the work.

At the conclusion of the event, Irina Staroselskaya, Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan, thanked the project participants and emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the development of the youth cultural environment. The student troupe was awarded letters of appreciation and a commemorative gift for further creative activity.
