President of Uzbekistan arrives in Turkmenistan

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit.

At Turkmenbashi Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, along with other officials.

According to the visit program, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan on October 8 and the next summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States on October 9.

Several bilateral meetings are also scheduled on the sidelines of the events.
