President of Azerbaijan congratulates President of Uzbekistan on his birthday

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The Leader of Azerbaijan sincerely congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing him good health, happiness, and new success in his responsible state duties, as well as peace, well-being, and prosperity for the multinational people of Uzbekistan.

The Presidents discussed the further strengthening of the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

They noted with satisfaction the ongoing contacts at various levels and the fruitful outcomes of the meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Council, which was held last week in Tashkent.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of thorough preparations for the upcoming high-level summit and of filling its economic agenda with concrete projects and programs.
