President of Azerbaijan arrives in Uzbekistan on a state visit

On August 23, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by his spouse, arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the President and First Lady of Uzbekistan greeted the distinguished guests.

The national flags of the two countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up.

According to the visit program, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will hold high-level talks today and co-chair the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council.

Following the summit, significant agreements are anticipated to be signed, along with the launch of various economic and humanitarian projects.
