Over 2,600 Uzbekistanis visited Malaysia in January 2026

In January 2026, more than 2,600 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Malaysia, the National Statistics Committee reports.

This represents an increase of 800 people, or 42.4%, compared with the same period last year.

The purposes of their trips were distributed as follows:

Tourism – 2,563 people,

Visiting relatives – 104 people,

Education – 14 people,

Official purposes – 5 people.
