New opportunities for youth are being created within the SCO platforms
We are the heirs of ancestors who used education and knowledge as a powerful weapon against ignorance.

They proved that enlightenment can save the world from degradation and that great goals are achievable through continuous learning, the accumulation of knowledge, the development of skills, and persistent striving to apply them.
The modern world is changing rapidly, and technological advancements are accelerating. Such high rates of development have made the future of youth and their education one of the most pressing issues of international politics. The times vividly demonstrate that without science and enlightenment, innovation and culture, it is impossible to speak of development and progress.
At the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the SCO Plus Summit in Tianjin, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that SCO countries possess enormous potential in such areas as artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, and alternative energy. These areas will become key factors in determining the fate of states in the future.
– The President put forward several initiatives related to the future of youth, – said Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. – The opportunities opening up for our youth within the SCO space will allow them to demonstrate their potential on the world stage. Particular attention was given to the creation of an online campus for the partner network ‘SCO University’, as well as the organization of annual competitions and Olympiads among students and young specialists in innovative fields. The SCO network of innovation and technology hubs proposed by our President aims to enhance the scientific potential of young people. These hubs can serve as a platform for new ideas, a center for technology transfer, and a vital link in the innovation process.
No matter how vital technology may be, without spirituality, there can be no genuine development. To bring the SCO peoples closer together, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward an initiative to establish a Great Silk Road Cultural Dialogue, designed to promote cultural diversity and the values of the “SCO family”. This will help find a path to the hearts of nations and instill in the younger generation the idea of “unity through culture”. Cultural dialogue is a crucial factor in understanding historical heritage, respecting one another, and promoting peaceful coexistence.
All the initiatives put forward are also significant in that they fully correspond to the goals outlined in the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy.
