Nearly 9,000 Uzbeks visited Egypt in two months

According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 8,890 Uzbekistan citizens traveled to Egypt for tourism in January and February 2026.

This represents a decrease of 2,200 people compared to the same period last year.

The breakdown by purpose of travel is as follows:

Tourism – 8,463 people;

Visiting relatives – 424 people;

Study – 2 people;

Medical treatment – 1 person.
