National Center for Human Rights and TSUL sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

The National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State University of Law signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The Director of the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician Akmal Saidov, and the Rector of Tashkent State University of Law, Professor Bakhshillo Khojayev, signed the document.

The parties highly valued the importance of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s reforms in establishing a rule-of-law state and a robust civil society in New Uzbekistan. They highlighted that this memorandum seeks to enhance collaboration between the two organizations in areas such as human rights and freedoms, legal education, research activities, learning from advanced national and international practices, and improving the professional skills of young lawyers.

At the event, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation in detail. The parties shared their perspectives on the main points of the memorandum, including joint research projects in human rights and organizing conferences, workshops, roundtables, and training sessions. The agreement also covers scientific and educational events involving experts and educators, along with initiatives to enhance students’ practical skills.

The parties also seek to facilitate the exchange of experience and information related to national and international human rights mechanisms, legal education, scientific research, academic collaboration, and enhancing young people’s legal awareness.
