Meeting with Ericsson leadership

During a working visit to the United States, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov held talks with Vice President of Ericsson Jeffrey Marks.

At the meeting in Washington, the discussion focused on ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan’s telecommunications sector, including expanding broadband internet coverage, introducing next-generation technologies, and modernizing networks.

The parties discussed modern topics such as the development of smart cities and AI-based network management.

It was noted that these initiatives align with Uzbekistan’s digital development goals.
