The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.

The King of Jordan sincerely congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing him good health and well-being, and peace, prosperity, and flourishing for the friendly people of Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, it was particularly emphasized that the substantive talks held in Samarkand and the important agreements reached as a result opened a new chapter in the development of bilateral relations.

The growing interparliamentary contacts, business cooperation, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two countries were noted with satisfaction.

The leaders emphasized the importance of continuing political dialogue, deepening economic and trade cooperation, and thoroughly preparing for the upcoming high-level events.

Views were also exchanged on current issues on the international and regional agenda.
