Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia discuss strengthening the strategic partnership
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
During the talks, the Uzbek side conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
The parties held a comprehensive exchange of views on key regional and international issues, with particular attention to the situation in the Middle East and the role of dialogue and diplomacy in ensuring stability.
Special emphasis was placed on expanding bilateral cooperation, reflecting the continued deepening of the partnership between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, built on a solid, long-term foundation laid by the leaders of the two countries.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain close coordination and to continue joint efforts to strengthen multifaceted cooperation. It was emphasized that the development of bilateral relations remains a priority area for the foreign policy agencies of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
