Export of livestock products from Uzbekistan to the UAE
As part of cooperation on food and veterinary safety between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, a veterinary certificate was officially approved for the export of hatching eggs, day-old chickens, poultry meat, and rabbit from Uzbekistan to the UAE.
The approval process included several stages, during which the parties exchanged information on state veterinary control, epizootic stability, biosafety measures, laboratory capabilities, and export controls.
The inspection visit by the delegation of the United Arab Emirates to Uzbekistan in November 2025 became the key stage.
During the visit, veterinary control systems, poultry and livestock enterprises, production processes, laboratory work, and export certification mechanisms were examined. The results confirmed that Uzbekistan’s veterinary system complies with international requirements and UAE standards.
The official approval of veterinary certificates has created a legal and practical basis for exporting livestock products to the United Arab Emirates market. This will help increase Uzbekistan’s export potential, open new markets for local producers, and strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
The export of these products is the result of systemic reforms in Uzbekistan’s veterinary medicine, the adoption of international standards, increased disease monitoring and control, and efforts to ensure food security.
