Electricity generation capacity increase at Takhiatash TPP
Takhiatash Thermal Power Plant (TPP) made a combined launch of the first of two modern combined cycle plants with a capacity of 280 MW.
On April 3, 2020, Takhiatash Thermal Power Plant (TPP) made a combined launch of the first of two modern combined cycle plants with a capacity of 280 MW, which should help meet the electricity demand of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region.
The project for construction of two modern combined-cycle plants at Takhiatash TPP is being implemented in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of September 11, 2017 jointly with Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd. and Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd.
