Cooperation between Uzbekistan and France reaches a new level
The Uzbekistan – France First Interparliamentary Forum has become an effective platform for strengthening interparliamentary cooperation.
Sodiq Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, said the forum marked a new stage in the development of interparliamentary cooperation.

Valérie Boyer, a Member of the Senate of France, noted the high level of bilateral cooperation between the countries. It was emphasized that France places great importance on developing relations with Uzbekistan.
As part of the forum, sessions focused on political dialogue, economic cooperation, and cultural and humanitarian ties.
Aspects of the development of parliamentary diplomacy, the strengthening of investment and trade cooperation, and prospects for coordinating actions within the “Central Asia – European Union” format were discussed.
