Cooperation between the Ombudsman and the OSCE is improving

Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, Feruza Eshmatova (Ombudsman), met with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Antti Karttunen.

The parties discussed ensuring the implementation of the roadmap for carrying out OSCE projects in the country in 2025-2026 and issues related to developing cooperation. The importance of effectively organizing activities defined under the roadmap and strengthening practical cooperation based on international standards and best practices was noted.

The parties agreed to continue working on joint projects.
