China showcases cutting-edge innovations and industrial equipment
The second China – Central Asia (Uzbekistan) 2026 Trade Exhibition, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), opened at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex.
The opening ceremony was attended by Liu Yue, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Kazakhstan, and Azamat Rakhimov, Head of the Department for the Development of Cooperation with China at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Around 200 leading Chinese companies are participating in this year’s exhibition. The exhibition covers intelligent manufacturing, green energy, consumer electronics, and trade in services. Chinese companies are showcasing solutions in technological innovation, digital transformation, and industrial modernization.

More than 30 percent of the exhibitors are specialized high-tech and innovative enterprises with significant potential and unique expertise in their respective fields. This shows that the exhibition focuses not only on showcasing finished products but also on presenting advanced technologies and industrial solutions.

The exhibition covers 4,800 square meters and features five specialized thematic zones. A special exhibition titled “China’s Opportunities” highlights the country’s national identity, potential, and capabilities.
Bringing together leading enterprises from various industries and manufacturers of specialized products under one roof creates favorable opportunities to develop industrial cooperation between Uzbek and Chinese companies and establish partnerships at different stages of the production chain.
As part of the exhibition, the Uzbekistan–China Investment Forum brought together representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, industry associations, and enterprises from both countries. Participants exchanged views on promising areas of bilateral cooperation. The forum also includes specialized industry-specific B2B meetings for entrepreneurs from both countries.
Discussions held during the exhibition help establish direct contacts between manufacturers and buyers, assess market demand, match supply with demand, and forge new trade and investment partnerships.
The exhibition will run until October 16. Meetings are scheduled to discuss establishing trade and economic cooperation with China’s Shaanxi Province and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
