Asian Para Games: Uzbekistan’s delegation takes part in torch relay

A torch relay was held as part of the 5th Summer Asian Para Games, which began in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan. Representatives of Uzbekistan’s delegation and the Asian Paralympic Committee took part in the event.

Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Chairperson of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, and Mukhtorkhon Toshkhujayev, Chairman of the Committee and Vice President of the Asian Paralympic Committee, attended the ceremony. During the relay, Asian Paralympic Committee President Majid Rashed handed the torch to Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva.

The relay aims to promote the core values of the Paralympic movement, including equal opportunities, solidarity and unity.
