A large-scale tourism project is planned for implementation in Namangan region
A ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for the Arashan Resort tourist complex took place in Pap district, Namangan region. The project, valued at $150 million, will cover an area of 600 hectares.
The event was attended by the regional head, law enforcement officials, representatives of government and public organizations, and members of the media.

Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzakov emphasized that the implementation of the new tourism project is highly significant not just for the region but for the entire valley. Once fully operational, the complex will be capable of hosting up to 2,500 tourists daily, with an annual visitor count of 912,000. Additionally, more than 2,000 new jobs are expected to be created.

The Arashan Resort will feature eco-tourism zones, infrastructure for adventure and mountain tourism, centers for gastronomic, cultural, and entertainment experiences, as well as recreation and wellness areas. Additionally, it will include themed parks, ski resorts, three- and four-star hotels and guesthouses, an artificial lake covering five hectares, attraction complexes spanning 17 kilometers, a 10-kilometer zipline, restaurants and cafes, an open-air cinema, an eco-market, children’s playgrounds, sports facilities, and swimming pools.

This large-scale project is being carried out in partnership with the Japanese company NGEA – Nippon Global Education and Assessment, which ensures the complex meets international standards. To maintain compliance with environmental regulations and safety requirements, experts from top Austrian construction firms will be involved.
