A glass products manufacturing project to be implemented in Navoi region
A major $76 million investment project was considered in Navoi region to establish a glass container manufacturing enterprise using processed quartz raw materials.
The project will be implemented in partnership with Qingdao Rongtai Glass Products, located in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The company specializes in manufacturing green, transparent, and brown glass containers for Rotar. Its annual production capacity is 1.1 million tons, or about 2.3 billion units of glass products.
The project will be implemented in three stages, with full production capacity achieved within five years. The launch of the enterprise’s first stage is scheduled within a year.
Investors are currently assessing the capacity of the local market and the demand for glass products. It is expected that part of the output will be supplied to the domestic market, while the rest will be exported to neighboring countries.
