Uzbekistan’s young taekwondo athletes win the Batumi Open 2026

Georgia hosted the Batumi Open 2026 International Taekwondo Tournament.

Athletes from Uzbekistan, Georgia, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Iran competed for victory.

Athletes from the Jar Sports and Recreation Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan defended the country’s honor.

Usman Abduganiyev became the gold medalist in the 30 kg weight category. Anvarjon Gafurov ranked third and won a bronze medal in the 33 kg weight category.
