Uzbekistan’s sambo wrestlers win 28 medals at the Asia and Oceania Championships
The Uzbekistan national team competed successfully at the 2026 Asia and Oceania Sambo Championships in Manila.
Following the tournament’s results, Uzbekistan’s athletes won 28 medals.
On the final day of the competition in adult sports and combat sambo disciplines, members of the Uzbekistan national team won four gold medals and one bronze. Ilhom Parmonov (-58 kg), Sardor Olimjonov (-64 kg), Sevinch Isroilova (-50 kg), and Musokhon Ziyadinov (-79 kg, combat sambo) became gold medalists, while Dilshodbek Yuldashev (-71 kg) earned bronze.
Following the results, the Uzbekistan national team won six gold and silver medals. The youth team won a gold, three silver, and six bronze medals, while junior athletes won four gold, two silver, and five bronze medals.
