Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister meets with the Speaker of Lok Sabha of Indian Parliament in Delhi

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met in Delhi with Om Birla, Speaker of the lower house of the Indian Parliament.

Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov described the meeting with His Excellency Om Birla as warm and meaningful. He highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India. The discussion covered expanding interparliamentary dialogue, increasing the activities of friendship groups, and sharing legislative experiences.

Om Birla warmly recalled his visit to Uzbekistan last year and once again expressed his gratitude for the sincere welcome and traditional hospitality shown during the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s 150th Anniversary Assembly.
