Uzbekistan increases watermelon exports by 67.7%

According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan exported 130.6 thousand tons of watermelons worth $29.9 million in January-June 2025.

This marks an increase of 52.7 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2024.

The main destinations for Uzbekistan’s watermelon exports during the first half of 2025 were:

Russia – 66,000 tons

Kazakhstan – 44,000 tons

Kyrgyzstan – 19,000 tons

Belarus – 968 tons

Mongolia – 618 tons

Latvia – 76 tons

Georgia – 66 tons

Poland – 61 tons

Other countries – 121 tons.
