Uzbekistan delegation attends the 5th GHWP Academy Training
Beijing hosted the 5th GHWP (China) Academy Training on “Advanced Medical Devices Empowering Global Public Health”.
The event featured sessions on medical device regulation, international harmonization, cooperation among regulatory authorities, and modern approaches to innovative medical technologies.
The training session was attended by international delegations, representatives of regulatory bodies, healthcare experts, and medical device industry professionals.
The Uzbekistan delegation, led by Nozim Berdiyev, First Deputy Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety, also participated in the event.
The training program covered contemporary regulatory directions in the field, including the assessment of innovative medical devices, artificial intelligence and digital healthcare technologies, clinical evaluation, and the application of Real-World Evidence (RWE) data from clinical practice.
The Uzbekistan delegation’s participation in this event offers an opportunity to study international experience in medical equipment regulation, build knowledge and skills in advanced regulatory approaches, and strengthen professional ties with foreign partners.
