Uzbekistan and ICESCO enhance collaboration in science, culture and education

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov has met with the ICESCO Director-General, Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the opening ceremony of the First International Forum of Islamic Civilization.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ICESCO in science, culture, education and tourism. Special attention was paid to the practical implementation of joint initiatives and the strengthening of constructive dialogue.

The parties emphasized the importance of executing the Action Plan, which details key areas to enhance cooperation and to initiate joint projects soon.
